Hercules Falling

Christian Holten Bonke, Denmark, 2025

104 min.DK/Feature

Synopsis Youssef - a Danish soldier is emotionally damaged after many years facing the horrors of war. After a burst of violence within the family, he is sent to the small, remote island of Strynø, where he, along with other veterans and surrounded by nature, slowly reconnects with himself and others around him. When an army buddy from the past suddenly appears with an offer that might pull Youssef back into the darkness of war; he faces the hardest choice of his life. Will he return to the familiar chaos of the battlefield or find the strength to become a father and man again?
